Recollections of the Chinese Elders in the South West
Story telling is a time honoured tradition that helps keep culture and history alive. It is especially important for the young of a generation to hear how their elders lived and worked and how they faced the challenges and opportunities of living in a different culture. This book is a record of the personal stories and history of individuals in Chinese Communities in South West England.

Initiated and organised by Plymouth and District Racial Equality Council (REC), supported by National Heritage Lottery Fund, BBC, Asia Art Space Project and University of Plymouth Press, the book is produced in both Chinese and English, with a CD, preserving the individual stories and the history that would otherwise be lost to future generations.
